ROH: Television Taping Results From Baltimore

Credit: @busseyinc

- Taping starts now. Kevin Kelly and Nigel McGuinness out pumping up the crowd

- Nui Tofiga & Drolix vs. Ryan McBride & Napalm up first. Probably a non-TV match

- Main event for 1st taping originally said to be YB vs. WGTT, but Shelton is suspended because he hasn’t paid his fine for the chair shot yet

- Main event is now Mark Briscoe vs. Charlie Haas with Jay handcuffed to the ring-post

- Andy Ridge vs. Kevin Steen up first. Steen is massively over

- Steen destroys Ridge. Steen attacks post match. Corino makes save. Jacobs comes out to brawl w/ Steen. Once apart, Jacobs challenges Steen

- Davey Richards & Kyle O’Reilly vs. Eddie Edwards & Adam Cole set up as main event of 10th anniversary show

- Edwards & Cole vs. Matt Taven & Mike Mondo up now.

- Edwards & Cole win after Cole pins Taven with the Straight Jacket Suplex. Mondo attacks Taven post match

- Main event #1 of Mark Briscoe vs. Charlie Haas up now

- Mark wins via roll-up. Charlie attacks post match with a chair. Pays fine immediately. Haas says Briscoes are dead

- End of episode 1

- Start of episode 2. Main event for this episode is Davey Richards vs. Jay Lethal for the World Title

- Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander vs. Young Bucks up now

- Bucks win in a good match.

- Richards vs. Lethal up now

- Ciampa comes out to ringside mid-match

- Kyle O’Reilly comes out once Ciampa wants to get involved. HOT come out next

- Edwards & Cole now out. Something is about to happen….

- This match is great. On pace to be Best match in SBG ROH TV era

- Everyone at ringside start huge brawl. Leads to interesting finish where Davey retains over Lethal

- Guess Ciampa wasn’t invovled in the brawl. He hasn’t moved from his seat.

- Ciampa has staredown with both Lethal and Richards who shake hands post-match

- Briscoes now out. This is still in episode 2, but they might be doing things out of order

- Briscoes vs. WGTT officially announced for one of the WM28 shows

- End of episode 2. Another TV Taping to take place in Baltimore on March 3

- 2nd half starts now. Main event of this episode will be Strong vs. Edwards. Winner gets a shot at
Davey’s world title during WM28 weekend

- Mike Bennett vs. TJ Perkins up now. Maria is getting a lot of guys starring at her

- Mike Bennett wins after Maria gets involved

- Guy Alexander vs. Tomasso Ciampa up now

- Ciampa wins via referee stoppage.

- Eddie Edwards vs. Roderick Strong up now

- Cole comes out once Truth interferes. That leads Elgin to come out.

- Roderick wins via sick kick, but Turner overrules and Eddie then wins via 2K1 bomb. Seems like a 3-way in Ft. Lauderdale

- This situation brings out Cary and Jim Cornette

- Jim confirms that it will be a three-way on Night 1 of Showdown in the Sun. Strong vs. Edwards vs. Richards.

- End of episode 3

- Final episode starts. Main event is called the “blind destiny challenge” Winner of that match will get an ROH World Title shot on WM28 Day 2

- Kenny King w/Rhett Titus vs. Jay Lethal in a proving ground match up now

- Roderick and Truth Martini out to watch this match

- Lethal wins via roll-up in a decent match

- Blind destiny qualifier up now. Adam Cole vs. Kevin Steen

- Kevin Steen wins in good match

- Kyle O’Reilly vs. Michael Elgin as main event of episode 4 of the night and is also a blind chance qualifier

- So main event for day 2 will be the world champ vs. Steen vs. Elgin/O’Reilly

- Roderick out mid-match. That’s number #4 mid-match appearance for him of the night

- Pretty great match between O’Reilly and Elgin

- Elgin wins. Roderick and Davey fight after the match. End of Taping.

- Day 2 of WrestleMania weekend will feature a 4-way title match with Richards/Elgin/Steen and a fourth person TBD.
