EVOLVE: “Tribute To The Arena” Set For EVOLVE 10

The Arena

BREAKING NEWS: Various media outlets have reported that EVOLVE 10 on January 14th will be the final wrestling event in the former ECW Arena in South Philadelphia. After EVOLVE 10, the Arena will undergo months and months of renovations and construction. All the interior walls, the “eagle’s nest” and bathroom area will be demolished. The Hall Of Fame banners will be removed. The days of anything goes management will be gone. January 14th is the end of the former ECW Arena as we know it.

EVOLVE recognizes the significance and emotion involved with the final event. The card is now titled “EVOLVE 10: A Tribute To The Arena” for obvious reasons. EVOLVE has opened up more reserved tickets for January 14th. There are a very limited amount of 1st row ringside available. 2nd row reserved tickets and VIP Balcony are now available. In addition, GA tickets will be $20 in advance and $25 at the door on the night of the show. Tickets can be purchased in the DGUSA.tv Store or by calling 267-519-9744.

EVOLVE will present a stellar card to make sure the building goes out with great wrestling. However, the people who made history in the building will be in the final segment. The show will close with “A Tribute To The Arena” featuring many special guests, including those that made an extreme legacy. We will have much more on this in the upcoming weeks at www.DGUSA.tv and here in The Email News Express.

The last official match in the building will be Johnny Gargano defending The Open The Freedom Gate Title against Ricochet. The former ECW Arena is the building where new stars were born, wrestlers performed with artistic freedom and new styles were made. Gargano and Ricochet epitomize this. They are two of today’s hottest new stars. On January 14th they will collide for EVOLVE’s richest prize.

We have just learned that Ahtu, fresh off his appearance on VH1′s Why Am I Still Single?, will be in the corner of The Scene of Scott Reed & Caleb Konley. The Scene, the newest team to start growing their reputation, will face off with another new team on January 14th. It will be Reed & Konley with Ahtu vs. the new duo of John Silver & Alex Reynolds. We hate to say it, but Larry Dallas is sure to be lurking around somewhere and he promises he “won’t be denied.” Whatever.

Please join us at www.Facebook.com/BookItGabe as we will be sharing lots of Arena memories almost daily for the next few weeks.

You have two chances to bid adieu to The Asylum Arena as Combat Zone Wrestling will present a show on January 14th at 2:30pm. The EVOLVE card begins at 7:30pm. Each event is a separate ticket. You can spend a day you’ll never forget at the former ECW Arena. We will make sure the legendary building gets its proper farewell.
